  • General

Do I have to be the owner of the clan on COD Elite or COD Clans?
No. Anyone can create a clan, though I would highly recommend letting the official Clan Owner create it here as well.
Do my members need to register on this site?
No. The only person that needs to register on this site is the clan owner. All other members can view the clan page without having to login.
How much does it cost to create a clan?
Creating a clan is free. If you want to remove Ads from your clan's pages you can choose to pay $4.95 per year.
    What payment methods are accepted?
All payments are completed using PayPal. You can pay using a credit card or through paypal itself.
Can I be the owner of more than one clan?
Yes. You can have as many clans as you want.
Do you have a list of all upcoming and past Elite Competitions?
Elite has been shut down and thus we only have a list of all past Elite competitions. You can view our Competition List page which shows some stats for each game regarding competitions as well as a full list of every clan competition on COD Elite. You can even filter the list based on the platform as well as the game.
Do you have a list of all clans that have won a Champion badge in Elite Competitions?
Yes, you can view our Elite Champion List page which shows each of the clan ops by game and who won the championship badge.

COD Elite (BO2/MW3) vs COD Clans (Ghosts)

What is the difference between COD Elite and COD Clans?
COD:Elite was the service that was used to track all clans and stats in MW3 and BO2. COD:Clans is the new service that is being used to track all clans and stats starting with Ghosts. Both are developed by Beachhead Studios. Some aspects may be similar but there are a lot of differences as well.
Why do we have 2 different Clan Rosters?
Because your BO2/MW3 Clan is entirely different from your Ghosts clan, they can each have their own clan roster. Thus, we have also divided our roster as well.
Can I import/copy my BO2 members into my Ghosts Roster?
Yes. If you already have your clan setup for BO2, we can automatically import the members into your Ghosts Roster. You can do this by choosing "Import Roster" from the Clan Administration menu.
Where can I find all the details regarding clans in Ghosts?
Your best bet for an updated Clan FAQ at this point is the following Forum Thread which answers a lot of questions regarding the changes for clans.

    COD Clans (Ghosts) Clan Import/Sync

Can I import my Ghosts Roster, their individual stats, as well as my Clan Stats into this site?
YES! We can finally import your data. It isn't real time but we allow you to sync your clan data once a day so that you can easily find who is playing and who is not so that you can better manage your clan now.
How does the Sync process work and how often is my clan data synced?
Clan leaders can sync data as often as they like though it is recommended to only sync it a few times a day. As long as one person hits the website each day, the data should be synced at least once. If noone visits your clan page at least once on a day, then you will not have data for that day.
I setup my clan, why is there no stat history?
Stat history is not provided by COD, but is instead provided as a service of this site. As your data is synced more and more you will begin to see your history.
How do I know what data was updated, who left/joined the clan, etc? Is there a log for the import?
Yes, the clan leader can see the previous logs of when the data was synced. Any member that was added or removed will be listed in the log. Anyone that is updated will not have their name listed.

How are you going to track our clan's XP progress and each members activities in Ghosts?
We are able to import your stats approximately once a day which will bring in all your members, many of their stats, as well as some overall clan stats. With this data you will be able to track each players activity by comparing the data. This can be done in the Roster Page under the Activity Tab.
Are there Clan Ops and Clan Challenges in Ghosts?
No, Clan Ops and Clan Challenges have been replaced with other ways to earn XP for your clan such as the new Clan Wars and Clan vs Clan modes.
Can I add rankings or structure to my Ghosts clan roster?
Yes, your Ghosts clan roster can have structure added to it. In the Clan Administration area choose "Clan Rankings". On the "Rank Definitions" tab you can define which rankings you want as well as order them. You can then go to the "Rank Members" tab to define which members are in which rank.
How do I earn Squad Points?
There are a few ways in which you can earn Squad Points in Ghosts:
    • 2 Points - Each rank up of one of your squad members
    • 1 Point - Successful completion of a field order
    • 1-5 Points - Completion of Operations (1 point for each available operation completed up to a maximum of 5. Get more operations and reset the counter by buying more operations)
How do I earn Clan XP?
There are 3 ways in which you can earn XP for your clan:
    • Play any multiplayer with at least 2 clan members in the lobby. If you win you will earn 50 Clan XP per member in the lobby. If you lose, you will earn 10 Clan XP per member in the lobby.
    • Play a Clan vs Clan game. If you win you will earn 100 Clan XP per member in the lobby. If you lose, you will earn 20 Clan XP per member in the lobby.
    • Participate in a Clan War. Coming in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in your clan war will net you with some extra XP rewards. The exact numbers vary per division and can be seen here.
What do we earn or unlock with each Clan Level we reach?
We don't know everything that you unlock at this point, but we have started a List of Ghost Unlocks for you to view them on.
How do I install the COD Mobile app on my Android device? My device is listed as incompatible.
As many of you know, the COD Mobile app is listed as incompatible on almost all Android devices. The thing is, it works on almost ANY android device, especially if it is newer. I have it installed on my Nexus 7 and Transformer Prime (10" tablet) and it works great on both of them. Here's how to do it:
    1. Go to http://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/ on your mobile device
    2. Enter com.activision.callofduty.mobile and click on "Generate Download Link"
    3. Close any popups or new tabs/windows that may open...they are ads. Everything you need should appear right on the current tab.
    4. Click on the "click here to download the APK now" link that appears
    5. Once downloaded onto your device, click on the install file (in your downloads or from the notification tray)
    6. Install the application
    7. Once installed, load the application and login with your COD Account credentials.
It's frustrating that they don't just list this as compatible, but until then this works. You should know that you will NOT be able to get any updates they put out for the app so from time to time you will need to repeat this process (after uninstalling it) in order to get the newest version.

    COD Clans (Ghosts) Clan Wars

How does our clan earn Clan XP by playing in a clan war?
You earn clan XP in a clan war by playing with your clan members (just like normal). Coming in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in your clan war will net you with some extra XP rewards. The exat numbers are not currently known but vary per division.
How much Clan XP does my clan earn for placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in the clan war?
    Bronze
    1st 100,000
    2nd 75,000
    3rd 50,000
    Silver
    1st 125,000
    2nd 100,000
    3rd 50,000
    Gold
    1st 150,000
    2nd 125,000
    3rd 75,000
    Platinum
    1st 200,000
    2nd 150,000
    3rd 75,000
    Diamond
    1st 450,000
    2nd 300,000
    3rd 150,000
Can my members see what our Primary Target is in a clan war using this site?
If you have linked your clan to an official clan by doing a Data Import, then we can pull down real-time data and show this for your clan. Otherwise, once a new clan war starts, you can go right on the front page and change your Primary Target and your rank. Members will be able to view your primary target from your homepage as well as that clan war's details page
Can I view past clan war details?
Yes, you can view all past clan wars by visiting the "Clan Wars" page under the Ghosts menu. From here you can view the results of each clan war as well as see some average stats such as your average CP earned as well as your average rank.
Can my clan members chat about a specific clan war using this site?
Yes, they can use the commenting system when viewing a specific clan war to talk about this. It is a comment system and not a true chat system, but it does provide your members with a way to talk about the specific clan war.
Can a member help in a clan war by playing solo or do they have to be playing with another clan member?
Every win in a game mode helps in the clan war no matter whether they are solo or part of a team. However, playing solo does not help the clan earn Clan XP which is needed to level up the clan.
How does the scoring work in Clan Wars?
Scoring is a bit complicated in Clan Wars. In order to win you need to be the clan that earned the most Clan Points (CP). Here's how to earn CP:
    • Capture a node (amount of CP varies and can decrease with each capture)
    • Hold a node for a specified amount of time (approximately 2CP for every X number of hours that you hold it).
    Items to note:
    • Your wins increase when a node is neutral (no clan owns it)
    • If captured by another team, your wins decrease their wins until the node is neutral again
    • If you capture it, the maximum number of wins you can have in that node is capped.
    • Each node is worth a different amount and some are much harder to capture than others (by design)
Where can I view all clan war rules?
This post on the official COD Forums may be helpful.
How many members do you need for clan wars?
For your clan to participate in a war, you must have at least 3 members in your clan at the time of the roster lock (usually 24 hours before the war begins). If you don't get 3 till after the roster lock you will likely not be eligible for the current clan war and will have to wait till the next one.
What are the Clan War Division Brackets and which one is my clan in?
In Bronze-Platinum Clan Wars your clan will first be grouped by the number of members you have at the moment of Roster Lock (see below). For the sake of clarity we refer to this as your Clan Bracket.

To then decide which division your clan is placed in we evaluate your recent performance. Historically this has ranged from how you've performed in the previous Clan War to how active your clan has been - the system used will continue to evolve over the course of the year. The basic rule of thumb is that clans who have been more active recently and successful in terms of wins will be placed into higher divisions than those who are either inactive or haven't performed as strongly.

Under this system it is possible for clans to drop by one or more divisions from one Clan War to the next.

The first exception to this rule is that clans who finished in the top 3 places in the previous Clan War will not drop down divisions, even if they've been inactive since that time. The second exception is that clans who finish a division in first place (with the obvious exception of Platinum Division) will be automatically promoted.

Diamond Division uses the same Clan Bracket system as Bronze-Platinum, but is not then split any further since all clans in Diamond Division are considered to be of equal calibre.

These are the Clan Brackets by number of members.

    34-39
    40-45
    46-54
    55-70
    71-100

For example : if your clan has 6 members it will only be involved in a Clan War with other clans with 6 members, whereas a clan with 50 members will be up against clans who have between 46 and 54 players on their roster.
What is the Roster Lock and how does it work?
In order for clans to be bracketed correctly we perform a count of the number of members in every clan around 24 hours before the start of each Clan War. This lock number is the limit of members your clan can have contributing wins in your Clan War division. The roster lock does not prevent clans from recruiting new members, but additional members beyond the lock number will not contribute towards that clan's wins.

For example : if your clan has 20 members at the moment rosters are locked, only the first 20 members of the clan to contribute a win in the Clan War will be counted. If the clan recruits 10 more members after the lock occurs they will still only have 20 members contributing wins. Critically, it does not matter if those members were recruited after the lock, if they're one of the first 20 from the clan to score a win, their performance will be counted potentially meaning that longer-serving members' wins are not. This even extends to Clan Commanders and Leaders, if you recruit after the lock you risk some members of your clan being unable to score towards your Clan War performance.

For this reason it is entirely possible your clan of 5 members could find itself in a bracket against a clan who has 100 members - this is still fair, as that 100 member clan will only be recording wins from the first 5 members to have played, since they will have recruited new members after the roster lock... unless of course your clan kicked out 95 guys after the roster lock, in which case you should probably recruit more people or you will be severely out-matched.

There is one exception to this rule. Once your roster lock is set the upper number of your bracket is considered to be your lock number - so if you have 34 members at the moment rosters are locked your clan can have 39 members contributing to your Clan War, effectively enabling you to recruit 5 more players after the lock.

    COD Elite (BO2/MW3) General

What is COD Elite and how do I access it? Did it shut down?
COD Elite was a service that tracked a lot of stats for your clan and your members for both MW3 and BO2. The service was shutdown on 2/28/2014. You are no longer able to access Elite at this point.
Why did COD Elite get shutdown?

    Remove Ads

How do I remove Ads from my clan's pages?
If you are seeing Ads on your clan's pages, you can remove them by clicking on the Pay Now button next to the ads.
How much does it cost to remove ads?
It cost's $4.95 per year per clan to remove Ads. After 1 year you will need to make another payment in order to remove the ads. Anyone visiting your page can make the payment and remove the ads for the clan.

As a bonus, removing the ads at least once will provide you with a subdomain for your clan which does not need to be purchased again.

    Clan Subdomain

How do I reserve a subdomain for my clan?
Go to the Clan Details section of your clan. Next to the Subdomain field, click on the "Pay Now" button to remove the ads from the site and reserve your domain name. Once payment is received, you should immediatly be able to setup your subdomain from the Clan Details admin page.
How much does it cost to reserve a subdomain?
If you remove the ads from your clan's page one time then you will automatically be eligible for a subdomain. After a year, you will continue to have access to the subdomain but the ads would need to be removed again if so desired.
What if my sub-domain is not available?
Subdomains are available on a first come first serve basis. If an xbox clan reserves the subdomain "ABC" first and a playstation clan also wants to use "ABC" then the playstation clan would need to reserve a different subdomain.
    Can I change my subdomain?
Yes. You can change them any number of times. We recommend keeping it similar to your clan tag. Once you change your subdomain, the previous subdomain is instantly available for any other clans to claim.

    Paid Account

What happens when my Ad removal subscription expires?
10 Days before your ad removal subscription expires, you will get a notice on the screen indicating that your subscription is about to expire with the option to renew. Once expired, you will see ads on your clan's pages again with the option to pay to remove them.
How do I transfer clan ownership?
This functionality will be added to the site in the near future. For now you can email us: support [at] codcp [dot] com.
If I cancel my account, can I get a full or partial refund?
All payments are final. Once payment is made, you are entitled to 1 year of no ads on your clan's pages. If you decide to quit using this site mid-year, you are not able to get a partial refund.
